Awful to beautiful

Nowadays. most of us receive e-bills and e-statements in our email.  Everyone is trying to be paperless. Just like my mobile company, Vodafone, just sends me SMS as well as email me for the statement of account.  But we have to admit that we still have those old-fashioned system.  We still get  hard copies of the statement of account from my son’s school, the statement of account for his private violin lessons, my roster for my presentations as Family Life Educator and other things.  So these add to the millions of paperwork in our household.  We do not stick them on our fridge though.  I do not know but, I just can’t stand that the exterior part of our fridge will be entirely crowded and messy.  So we pin these stuff on a cork board which look like this:

This board is actually in our spare room.  Since my brother and his family are all coming here in Sydney in April to visit us, I thought I should do something about it.  Their short stay should be pleasurable and it should start with a guest room that is in order and inviting.  Hence, I started taking out all the papers from the cork board and then glued scrapbook papers which I still have when I made my file folders.  I got these scrapbook papers from Kmart inside Westfield Burwood for only $7.00. I glued different designs to cover the whole board

Then after several minutes, my messy board became stylish and still functional.

There is no harm in trying to be organized, there’s always a room for improvement and yeah there is always a room to be improved!
